Congressman Adam Schiff seeks senior level Communications Director to lead press, digital and communications operation across a busy personal office. Successful candidates will have experience working in fast-paced environments, implementing an aggressive communications plan, working collaboratively to prioritize and publicize Members’ strategic goals, and overseeing staff. Above all, a successful candidate will be an exceptional writer and highly creative.

Responsibilities include serving as an on-the-record spokesperson and shaping stories; developing and drafting op-eds, speeches and statements; and booking nationally and across multiple competitive local markets. Responsibilities also include helping to grow digital presence, working with the legislative staff to develop policy priorities, and ensuring the smooth operation of large communications operation.

Capitol Hill relationships and California ties are major pluses, as is experience booking on national and local TV.
