Position Description: Rep. Katie Porter (CA-47) seeks a Scheduler for our Washington, D.C. office. This individual will be responsible for the Member’s daily and long-term schedule in D.C and the district. Specific responsibilities will include managing invitations and scheduling requests, coordinating travel and logistical details, corresponding with constituent groups and stakeholders, managing our various scheduling and event systems, and other additional administrative duties. The ideal Scheduler is a good writer, able to multi-task, very organized, politically savvy, a quick problem solver, and comfortable dealing with a diverse variety of people. Previous Capitol Hill scheduling or other scheduling experience is preferred. This position reports directly to the Chief of Staff.
