Senator Bob Menendez is seeking a seasoned communications professional to lead his communications team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience working with multidisciplinary teams and leading intense communications operations that rely on multiple traditional, and non-traditional, media tactics such as, but not limited to press releases, press conferences, social media, multimedia and other tools to elevate and amplify the Senator’s work. Strong relationships with national, DC-based reporters and the ability to plan and execute simultaneous tasks while supervising a team is a must.

The ideal candidate has proven success in developing and advising on strategic communications and messaging goals and would plan and implement national and local media strategies that reflect office and legislative priorities. Fluency in other languages, such as Spanish, is a welcome plus. This is not an entry level position.
