SKDK, an award-winning digital, public affairs and political advertising agency, is looking for a Senior Associate in digital fundraising to join our growing team! This position will focus on building and growing email and SMS fundraising programs, as well as advertising and acquisition. Successful candidates are passionate about building dynamic revenue streams necessary for democratic candidates, PACs, and non-profit organizations to thrive in the digital age.

 

Whether it is creating a campaign launch video for a candidate, assisting a corporate client on establishing messaging around their corporate social responsibility strategy, or guiding a nonprofit through a crisis, SKDK is always at the forefront, leading the charge. The ideal candidate should be interested in continuously learning new strategies and tactics in a constantly shifting space. We seek dynamic individuals who are self-starters, quick-studies, and can multi-task in fast-paced environments. Preference given to candidates with experience working one to three cycles in digital fundraising. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft and edit effective and quality email fundraising and advocacy copy.
  • Develop monthly communications calendars.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS to code emails, templates, and landing pages
  • Knowledgeable of NGP EveryAction or similar digital fundraising platforms – specifically coding, data segmentation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Manage email deployment process and production staff – depending on skills and experience.
  • Execute organic list growth and paid acquisition strategies.
  • Create and launch SMS programs using Tatango, EveryAction, or other similar platforms.
  • Develop analytical reports on projections, program performance, and list growth.
  • Help build strong client relationships while executing digital fundraising campaigns. Including day-to-day management of client relationships and satisfaction. Regularly communicate ideas and performance.
  • Work with both internal facing and client facing teams, ranging from technology and creative, to managing resources and project timelines.

A successful candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital fundraising
  • Expereince with EveryAction or similar CRMS
  • Basic HTML/CSS experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in writing and editing.
  • Ability to manage many different projects at once, from assignment to delivery.
  • Strong writing skills to craft quality email fundraising and advocacy copy.
  • Experience pulling analytical reports on email, ad, and social media campaigns.
  • The ability to execute monthly communications calendars.
