Associate

Xenophon Strategies, one of the nation’s leading crisis communications and issues management PR firm, is hiring an experienced, talented associate to provide day-to-day account support for a select number of agency clients. While Xenophon has a hybrid workplace (remote and in-person), our headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C. offers a collaborative atmosphere for on-site workers. 

The associate will be responsible for proactive media outreach, writing various communications materials, implementing social media strategies, supporting public affairs campaigns, ESG/Sustainability engagement, and conducting research. Candidates must be highly organized, detail oriented, a skilled multitasker, results driven, and a can-do team player with excellent communications skills, both oral and written.  

Successful candidates must have 2 to 4 years of proven experience in proactive media relations strategies and tactics, and digital communications/social media strategies and tactics. Experience on Capitol Hill or at an agency is preferred.
