Health Education Associate (Full-time)

The Dolores Huerta Foundation is looking for an energetic individual to join our Education Team at our Bakersfield Location.

Are you looking to join the efforts to address food insecurities in the Central Valley, and have a passion for helping others? The Central Valley is home to the nation's largest agricultural epicenter that is also facing food insecurity. Join DHF to provide innovative, engaging solutions to school districts, students, and families to address and overcome these challenges.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited college
• An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
• 2+ Years’ experience in a Health Education role preferred
• Social justice advocacy experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft applications
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation, driver’s license, auto, and automobile insurance
• Written and spoken proficiency in Spanish & English is a plus
