Rising Tide Interactive is seeking an experienced digital strategist and manager to join our team as a Director of Client Strategy. 

The Director of Client Strategy leads the day-to-day operations of the Client Strategy department, promotes digital innovation and superior client service, and helps shape our growing company as a member of senior staff. 

As part of the Client Strategy leadership team, you will: 

  • Mentor and train junior strategists
  • Recruit and onboard new staff
  • Serve as the principal strategist on large, high-profile accounts, including political candidates, ballot initiatives, campaign committees, advocacy organizations and nonprofits
  • Participate in business development and marketing
  • Ensure our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is integrated into all of our work
  • Participate in senior staff discussions regarding company policies and lead internal initiatives
  • The Director of Client Strategy reports to the Vice President of Client Strategy, and frequently collaborates with Partners, VPs, and other department directors on both internal and client-facing work. 

We’re looking for:

  • 5 years of experience in digital paid media, public affairs, or advocacy, including experience in a leadership role. Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a manager
  • Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following:
    • Digital paid media 
    • Political campaigns
    • Public affairs
    • Email marketing

Relevant details:

  • Salary band: $95,000-115,000
  • This position is based in our office in Washington, DC
  • Due to COVID-19, all employees have the option of remote work through at least January 2023.
