What Is The OG Fellows Program?

OG Fellows is a paid-internship program for people interested in deepening their knowledge and engagement with politics, gaining entry into a career in campaigns, and applying their growing skillset to ensure Stacey Abrams is elected as the next governor of the state of Georgia.

You must live (be a permanent resident) in Georgia to be hired as a fellow. Non-Georgia residents will not be considered.

Structure of the Fellowship Program

The structure of the fellowship varies by department and need. Fellowships can be seasonal (i.e., Summer) or long-term positions with the Campaign. If you are in an academic program and are chosen as a Fellow, OG will work with you to fulfill any academic requirements your school might have in order for you to receive credit for your internship.

What differentiates a Fellowship from a regular, permanent position with the campaign is that fellowships are part time and are intentionally structured to attract talent at the entry level who may be just getting their start in politics/campaigns. There is often additional flexibility in terms of scheduling for fellows, who may be juggling academic, familial or other obligations. Fellows receive support from their supervisors and other campaign staff who are committed to their growth and development in the work. This support comes in the form of weekly check-ins, fellows-only trainings and social outings, and a team mentor
