The State AG Analyst will be a key member of the State Attorney General team in T-Mobile’s Government Affairs department. The State AG team interacts with state attorneys general and their staff members nationwide to address issues and advocate on policies impacting T-Mobile. The State AG analyst will showcase T-Mobile’s Un-carrier brand and advocacy by working with members of the State AG team and key internal stakeholders to process internal and external information, formulate strategy and create advocacy materials. The right candidate will have a passion for public policy and legal issues along with great written and communication skills to assist the team in meeting ambitious policy and advocacy objectives.


What You’ll Do In Your Role.


  • Compile bi-weekly Attorney General reports
  • Monitor and track State Attorneys General media reports and social media impacting the company
  • Interact with internal business units to collect information used for briefings and presentations
  • Create presentations and talking points to be used in meetings with State Attorneys General and staff, Attorney General Association events, and internal briefings
  • Analyze and summarize Attorney General lawsuits on relevant topics related to big tech, communications service providers, and other areas of focus and concern
  • Track FTC and DOJ proceedings in which State Attorneys General are involved
  • Track key state privacy rulemakings and legislative progress
  • Track attorney general consumer protection enforcement trends
  • Distribute communications to external team of consultants
  • Conduct legal research
  • Collaborate with other State AG team members on strategic outreach initiatives


The Experience You’ll Bring.


  • Minimum of 1 year experience in legal or government affairs or position in state or federal government
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Lexis Nexis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to report accurately, meet tight deadlines, work on projects independently, be self-motivated and multi-task
  • Effective listening, comprehension, interpersonal and communication skills


Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Post-graduate preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
