Program Manager (Work/Life)

EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT


Summary

This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA), Office of Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO). The incumbent supervises a wide range of work life programs that provide substantive administrative and program support EOP-wide as well as lead for designated special projects.


Duties

As a Program Manager (Work/Life), GS-0340-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:


Supervises, directs, and establishes policies, procedures, and operational requirements for overall effectiveness and efficiency for a wide range of administrative programs in support of the Office of Administration (OA), Executive Office of the President (EOP), and the White House Office (WHO). Such programs include work-life programs, federal telework and alternate work schedule policies, federal guidance on the detailee program, federal student programs policies, federal child-care subsidy programs, and EOP and OA internship programs.

Creates and manages regular communications (e.g. Newsletters, Info Sessions, and Intranet page updates) aimed at employee education and awareness on benefits programs, health and wellness initiatives, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work-Life programs and services.

Updates EOP website with latest information and re-design when needed.

Manages relationships with Federal Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Program providers, vendors and other external stakeholders.

Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices, and conducts research related to work-life programs in the workplace.

Takes lead on planning, coordination, and execution of EAP, Internship and Work-Life Program.

Maintains, revises, and creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies related to internship and work-life programs.
