Western Democrat seeks a creative, detail-oriented, and savvy Digital Director to join an aggressive communications team. Primary responsibilities include developing a long-term digital strategy, producing social media content, creating graphics and videos, managing the website, running the e-mail program, coordinating digital messaging with outside groups and other member offices, and analyzing online performance. Interested applicants should have strong writing skills, an innovative approach, and can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This position requires a thorough understanding of how to incorporate digital communications into a Senator’s goals in D.C. and in the state, as well as how to engage on complex issues to multiple audiences. Three to five years of experience, including Capitol Hill and/or campaign experience, preferred.
